Day Eight, Sunday 14th April

I'm Amy and I'm going to tell you all about our flight on Sunday.

We woke up very early in the morning, ready to leave the hotel at six.  We were meant to leave at 6.30 but our driver, Pessah, had another job to go to so we had to leave earlier.

When we arrived at the airport, the were no queues for anything.  Whilst going through security, Naomi and Charlotte's bag got searched. We had to wait a while for it to be searched.  We were very happy when we found out where we were all sitting cos we where all sitting together.  We were also very lucky because we had our own TVs unlike on the way out when we shared a big screen.

When I look back on the trip, I will mainly remember two things.  The first one is the siren that went off to remember all the Holocaust victims because everyone in the whole of Israel stops what they a doing and stands still for two minutes, even people in cars stop in the middle of the road and get out.  The second one is the Dialogue in the Dark experience at the Children's Museum.  Even though it didn't show exactly what it was like to be blind, it still made me realise how hard it must be to be blind.  I was really scared going in at first so I came out of the room with my mum but I went back into the second group and I'm really proud of myself that I did it.

We are returning to cold England and it's back to school tomorrow.

I had a really good trip and I will always remember it.
